Boost brain health and metabolism with this cool and refreshing drink, designed by my daughter Sophia, a mixologist in the making!
Green tea is loaded with polyphenol antioxidants, called catechins, which may be beneficial for metabolic function, and L-theanine, supporting the function and protection of the brain. Mint has cleansing and detoxifying properties and may help to relieve gas and bloating.
Boil water and pour over tea bags.
Squeeze half a lemon into the tea, slice the rest to infuse in the liquid.
Tear 5 large mint leaves and add to the mix.
Pour over a handful of Ice cubes.
