Sesame seeds are a great source of plant based protein, essential fats, and one of the richest sources of calcium, balancing our hormones and maintaining healthy bones.
In large bowl add the oats, seeds, nuts & salt.
In a saucepan melt coconut oil with the dark chocolate.
Once melted, remove from heat and stir in the maple syrup and tahini.
Add 3/4 of the wet ingredients to dry, and mix until well combined.
Transfer to a parchment-lined Swiss roll tin, or two loaf tins and press down to create a smooth surface.
Evenly spread over the remaining choc mix.
Chill in fridge for 1 hr/ overnight, then cut into equal sized bars or squares.
Store in fridge and eat within 1 week.
