Prep your berries, mix with orange zest and juice of half an orange and 1 tbsp maple syrup.

Measure out the milk in a jug, add the eggs and melted butter.

Sift flour, baking powder and bicarb in a large bowl. Make a well in the centre, then add the milk and eggs and whisk in gradually.

Spoon about 2 tbsp of the batter into to a hot, lightly buttered frying pan.

Sprinkle a few seeds on the uncooked side.

Once bubbles start to form use a spatula to turn over and toast for a minute or two on the other side.

Transfer to a warmed dish covered with a clean tea towel until the batch is done.

Enjoy with the juicy citrus berries and yoghurt.
