Ingredients

2 medium beetroot with stalks
1/2 cucumber
2 carrots
2 pears
1 cm piece of fresh ginger
1/2 lime

Vibrant beet and pear juice

Benefits

Beetroots are full of powerful antioxidants and high in Vitamin C.  The roots, leaves and the stems can be eaten too. The leaves are rich in calcium, iron and vitamin A. They are slightly bitter though, so best enjoyed in salads rather than juice.

Method

Push through a juicer and collect the juice.
